Position Description
We are seeking a hands-on and dependable General Operations Specialist to support our operations team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including receiving and processing incoming shipments, preparing and crating outbound orders, and supporting inventory management efforts to ensure smooth production flow.
In addition, you will contribute to light fabrication work such as cutting, grinding, assembling, and finishing materials and components. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality work, and wants to be part of a collaborative manufacturing team with opportunities to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments, including parcels and large crates.
  • Support our ERP implementation and maintain clean shipping & inventory data.
  • Safely unload, organize, and store materials in designated areas.
  • Prepare, package, and crate outgoing shipments.
  • Support coordination of shipping logistics, including labeling, documentation, and carrier scheduling.
  • Support inventory management by tracking materials, updating records, and conducting cycle counts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist in identifying discrepancies.
  • Perform light fabrication tasks such as cutting, grinding, assembling, and finishing components.
  • Assist in processing and preparing materials, parts, and assemblies for production.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with operations and production teams to support workflow efficiency and meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a forklift, or desire to learn
  • Good communication skills and ability to be self-directed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be detail oriented
  • Team player, energetic and willingness to help where needed
  • Ability to use basic programs (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to use hand and power tools

Education and Experience
  • Previous construction experience, a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
