About the Role:Responsible for the development, implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of customer experience capabilities to support the Company's pharmaceutical products and marketing initiatives, with primary responsibility for Web Operations across Neurocrine's portfolio of brands and websites. This role will oversee managed services partners to ensure work is delivered efficiently, consistently, and at a high level of quality. This includes oversight of scalable production processes, governance, service levels, and ways of working across internal teams and agency partners. As Neurocrine's portfolio and omnichannel capabilities grow, the role will help extend these practices to additional digital production activities, such as display and social assets.
The ideal candidate combines strong digital production knowledge with exceptional operational, agency-management, and cross-functional leadership skills and is energized by creating structure, improving processes, and enabling teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences at scale.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Lead digital production operations across Neurocrine's portfolio of websites, overseeing delivery of website launches, enhancements, updates, and ongoing production needs. This includes intake, prioritization, hand-offs, quality controls, release processes, escalation pathways

  • Partner with brand teams, their agencies, digital managed services, and others to enable effective ways of working, accommodating different agency models while maintaining consistent enterprise production standards

  • Develop and provide training to internal teams and agency partners on the use of core capability and best practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

  • Oversee managed services partner, including budget, capacity planning, timelines, utilization, scope, and performance

  • Establish, monitor, and report service levels and operational KPIs, including throughput, cycle time, on-time delivery, quality, rework, backlog, capacity, and vendor performance

  • Partner cross-functionally with content owners, analytics, privacy, IT, and other stakeholders to enable effective digital delivery and resolve operational dependencies

  • Oversee quality assurance and release-management standards to support consistent, high-quality digital experiences across the website portfolio

  • Drive adoption of reusable components, templates, design standards, and standardized production practices that improve quality, speed, and scalability

  • Partner with the Sr. Manager responsible for digital platforms to ensure Contentful, Bynder, and related platform enhancements, architecture, documentation, and governance support business needs and efficient digital production operations

  • As business needs evolve, extend common production governance and operating practices to additional digital asset types and channels, including display and social, where centralized production can create additional efficiency and scale

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, information systems, computer science, digital technology or a related field AND

    6+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, or related fields OR

  • Master's degree in marketing, life sciences or business administration AND 4+ years of similar experience as noted above

  • Experience managing digital production, web operations, marketing operations, or similar capabilities across multiple brands or digital properties

  • Strong understanding of website production lifecycles, including requirements, design handoffs, development, quality assurance, release, and ongoing optimization

  • Experience establishing and managing production workflows, SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, intake and prioritization processes, and vendor governance; experience with work management tools like JIRA, Adobe Workfront, and/or ServiceNow is a plus

  • Hands-on experience with headless enterprise content management systems and digital asset management platforms; experience with Contentful and Bynder is preferred

  • Experience with digital asset management practices, including metadata and taxonomy, asset lifecycle and rights management, permissions, asset governance, and DAM integrations with CMS and downstream channels

  • Working knowledge of digital production considerations including accessibility, analytics and tagging, privacy, responsive experiences, and quality assurance

  • Working knowledge of broader marketing technologies ecosystem, including marketing automation (Salesforce preferred)

  • Working knowledge of how content and data flow across integrated martech systems (CMS, DAM, marketing automation, analytics), with the ability to identify when issues originate upstream or downstream of web production

  • Working knowledge of AI-enabled production and personalization capabilities, with the ability to evaluate, adopt, and drive partner adoption as new tools emerge; prior AI strategy experience preferred but not required

  • Experience with reusable components, design systems, templates, or other approaches to scaling digital production preferred

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry preferred

  • Familiarity with promotional review requirements and working within regulated digital production environments preferred

  • Strong operational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities across brands, agencies, and stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes, governance, and ways of working in a complex, matrixed organization

  • Ability to contribute to cross-functional teams and provide domain expertise to support decision-making

  • Strong agency and vendor-management skills, including experience managing service levels, capacity, performance, and escalations

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical improvements

  • Ability to translate business needs into clear production requirements and effectively bridge marketing, creative, and technology teams

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $132,700.00-$182,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
