Responsabilites principales (ce que vous ferez reellement)

  • Soutenir la mise en uvre et le maintien des processus DevOps et des meilleures pratiques.
  • Participer au deploiement, a la configuration et a la surveillance des infrastructures infonuagiques.
  • Contribuer a la maintenance et a l'amelioration des pipelines CI/CD.
  • Aider a surveiller les performances des systemes, a diagnostiquer les problemes et a repondre aux alertes.
  • Collaborer avec les equipes de developpement qualite et d'exploitation afin de soutenir la livraison des projets.
  • Developper et maintenir des scripts et des outils d'automatisation afin d'ameliorer l'efficacite operationnelle.
  • Assister les equipes de developpement et d'assurance qualite dans la configuration et la gestion des environnements de test.

Qualifications et competences requises

  • Connaissance de base des principes DevOps, notamment l'integration et le deploiement continus (CI/CD), l'automatisation, l'infrastructure en tant que code (Infrastructure as Code) et l'infonuagique, ainsi qu'une capacite demontree a appliquer ces concepts dans des projets academiques, personnels ou professionnels.
  • Diplome d'etudes collegiales ou universitaires en informatique, en genie, en technologies de l'information ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • De 1 a 3 annees d'experience en DevOps, en developpement logiciel, en administration de systemes, en technologies infonuagiques ou dans un role technique connexe.
  • Experience avec les services infonuagiques Microsoft Azure et connaissances de base des infrastructures infonuagiques, des reseaux, de la securite et des pratiques de deploiement.
  • Excellentes capacites d'analyse et de resolution de problemes.

Portage CyberTech is seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn DevOps Specialist to join our Software Engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates with a foundation in software development, cloud technologies, and automation who want to grow their expertise in DevOps practices. Working alongside experienced team members, you will help support software delivery processes, cloud infrastructure, and automation initiatives while gaining hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools, AI and methodologies.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of DevOps processes, tooling and best practices.
  • Assist with the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Help monitor systems' performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to alerts.
  • Collaborate with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to support project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist development and QA teams with the configuration and management of test environments.
  • Participate in software releases and production deployments under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Support infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
  • Explore new technologies, including AI-assisted automation and operational tools, to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Foundational knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud computing, with a demonstrated ability to apply these concepts in academic, personal, or professional projects.
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in DevOps, software development, system administration, cloud technologies, or related technical roles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and foundational knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and deployment practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Methodical and well-organized, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in leveraging AI-assisted tools and automation techniques to improve software delivery, operational efficiency, and system reliability.
