Job description

As a Web Developer at the Craft&Crew group of companies, you will lead the development of high-quality, large-scale websites using Drupal, WordPress, and Craft CMS, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients while adhering to the highest technical standards. You will also be responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of websites, troubleshooting issues, and performing quality assurance to guarantee a seamless user experience. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring team members and improving development processes.


Development Responsibilities:


  • Website Development: Lead the planning, design, and creation of exceptional websites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within resource constraints.
  • Drupal, WordPress, and Craft Expertise: Develop and maintain custom modules, themes, and integrations for Drupal, WordPress, and Craft-based websites, ensuring best practices in security, performance, and accessibility.
  • Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for existing websites, addressing bugs, optimizing performance, and applying security updates to keep sites running smoothly.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of deliverables through thorough testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Proactively identify potential issues and address them before they impact users.
  • Process Improvement: Actively contribute to refining and improving the development process, offering suggestions for tools, workflows, and strategies that enhance the team's overall efficiency and output.
  • Coding Standards: Ensure adherence to coding best practices, including clean, maintainable code and documentation, following established standards for security, performance, and accessibility.
  • Time Tracking: Accurately log time spent on development tasks and projects, ensuring proper tracking for project management, billing, and resource allocation purposes


Team Collaboration & Mentorship:


  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Guide and support junior developers, helping them grow their technical skills and understanding of best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery and alignment with client goals.
