Job description

Koniag Management Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a SharePoint Developer with a Secret security clearance to support KMS and our government customer in Mobile, AL. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Koniag Management Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to support the U.S. Coast Guard's Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Project Residence Office (PRO) in Mobile, AL. This full-time position requires an individual with extensive SharePoint development experience to design, develop, and maintain electronic databases, automated workflows, and collaboration tools supporting the largest acquisition program in Department of Homeland Security history. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in SharePoint architecture, workflow automation, dashboard creation, and data analytics to enable efficient program management and documentation control.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
The SharePoint Developer will design, develop, and maintain SharePoint environments, workflows, and data management systems supporting OPC program operations. Principal responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain SharePoint workflows to support Coast Guard contract management and team collaboration activities
  • Design and implement custom dashboards for quick-view status reporting and program metrics
  • Create automated workflows for document creation, indexing, review, delivery, and approval processes
  • Develop and maintain data repositories for current and historical program documentation
  • Build standardized reports and presentation graphs showing workflow status and process metrics
  • Support SharePoint software upgrades, patches, and system enhancements
  • Research and data mine within and outside SharePoint to retrieve data and develop performance metrics
  • Monitor data management repositories and forward documentation to relevant USCG staff members as directed
  • Screen documents for proper distribution markings and data rights; review Data Accession Lists
  • Maintain version-controlled data products processed through workflows including contract deliverables
  • Track and organize program documentation including MSAM documents, decisional memorandums, and correspondence
  • Support administration, collection, and submission of time-sensitive data calls (often with 24-hour turnaround)
  • Develop processes and plans for creation, incorporation, and maintenance of reports, trackers, and documents
  • Maintain spreadsheets and SharePoint task lists tracking program financial activities
  • Provide SharePoint system status presentations and user requirement analyses
  • Troubleshoot user issues and provide technical support to Government and contractor personnel
  • Monitor content placed on SharePoint and notify COR of any issues within one business day
  • Attend meetings to review SharePoint status and document meeting notes related to assigned tasks
  • Ensure all documents and deliverables are stored in Government-approved Integrated Data Environments

 

Education and Experience:
Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ infrastructure and web-based development experience in a SharePoint software environment

Clearance Requirement:

  • Secret security clearance

 

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint architecture, development, and administration
  • Proficiency developing custom SharePoint workflows, web parts, and forms
  • Strong experience with SharePoint Designer, PowerShell scripting, and SharePoint Online
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite including Word, Excel, and Power BI
  • Experience in performance metrics development, analysis, and trending
  • Strong understanding of database management and data organization principles
  • Ability to develop dashboards and data visualization tools
  • Experience with version control and document management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
