Job description

Overview
Brighton Resort is seeking a full-time year-round Graphic Designer (approximately 30 hours per week) to join our marketing team for the winter season. This role plays a key part in shaping the resort's visual identity across both digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate is a versatile designer who can bring creative energy and consistency to everything from online ads to on-mountain signage.
Position Details
  • Status: full-time year-round (Approx. 30 hours/week)
  • Duration: Winter season (dates may vary depending on resort operations)
  • Schedule: Flexible, with some weekend or event-based work as needed

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Design digital advertising materials for web static, paid social media and billboards in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Work closely with the Brand Manager to maintain and evolve Brighton's visual identity across all creative outputs.
  • Create print advertising assets including posters, signage, and brochures.
  • Develop event flyers and promotional pieces for mountain activations, and resort happenings.
  • Design and update restaurant menus both digital & print along with other food & beverage materials throughout the season.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and collateral.
  • Support the marketing team with additional design tasks as needed.
  • Other marketing-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional graphic design experience (preferably in marketing, hospitality, or outdoor/recreation industries).
  • Associates or Bachelors in Graphics Design preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign required; Premiere or After Effects a plus).
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Experience designing for both digital and print applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
  • Familiarity with prepress and print production processes.
  • Passion for mountain culture, skiing, or snowboarding is a must.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the resort.
