Job Location: SEATTLE, WA 98109

RUN Studios and it’s client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, is looking for a talented, customer-focused Production Designer to join our team for a 4-month contract.

The ideal candidate has the ability to deliver clean, web-ready designs based on existing style guides and brand guidelines in a fast-paced production environment. This role emphasizes strong compositional skills, the ability to create & apply motion to designs, and a willingness to explore emerging tools including generative AI and 3D workflows. This position requires strong organizational skills, web expertise, intrinsic design ability, typographic skills, and acute attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with key stakeholders is essential. Online portfolio of work is REQUIRED.

As a Production Designer, You Will
  • Create high-quality visual design assets.
  • Design strongly branded promotional graphics with a focus on product compositions.
  • Create and apply motion to digital assets (animated hero creative, display ads, etc.).
  • Fulfill multiple project requests while meeting tight deadlines, and synthesize feedback and input from stakeholders.
  • Use generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
As an Applicant, You Bring
  • 4+ years minimum experience in a web production environment.
  • BA/BS in Design or equivalent.
  • Online portfolio of work required.
  • Proficient in Figma and Figma templates.
  • Excellent Adobe Photoshop skills.
  • Experience with customer-facing product imagery art direction and execution.
  • Strong composition skills: ability to create polished, visually compelling product-focused layouts.
  • Understanding of motion design principles with proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools and workflows (prompt-based image generation, AI-assisted design).
  • Excellent attention to detail and high design standards.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Agency or fast-paced studio experience a plus.
  • Retail design experience a plus.
  • Open to learning new tools, particularly 3D (prior experience a plus, not required).

Compensation

Pay Range: $45.00 - $55.00 / Hourly

The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
