Job description

Overview

Konica Minolta has an exciting full-time opportunity on our Marketing team for a Web Production Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for construction, editing, and publication of our current and future web properties. You will be tasked with elevating the company brand through successful user interactions. As the Web Production Specialist, you will provide strategic solutions and the best end to end digital experience by simplifying the complex journey through our broad portfolio of products and services.

This position follows a hybrid schedule, working in office Monday through Thursday with remote work on Fridays.

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed wireframe task-flows, prototypes, mockups, and user journeys to illustrate site’s functionality and showcase the appearance of the page
  • Iterate and evolve designs by conducting user testing and qualitative sessions to improve engagement, usability, and affinity
  • Lead projects amongst stakeholders (IT, Creative, Copywriting, and more) to manage web production projects from start to finish with strong design methodology
  • Provide web production support for stakeholders using Content Management System (CMS) templates and modules
  • Author web pages by leveraging best practices for User Experience and optimal page layout while adhering to our Brand guidelines
  • Assess and document the need for process and workflow improvements on an ongoing basis
  • Leverage knowledge of Konica Minolta’s products, services and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and transform them into intuitive design recommendations
  • Remain up to date on emerging industry trends to provide insight on ways to improve visual design, usability, website functionality, experiences, and conversion rates
  • Analyze data results of design changes and new content to ensure goals are met, and then further develop designs, as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate and global policies and directives
Qualifications
  • BS in Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or relevant field
  • 5+ years’ experience of user experience, design and web applications
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Content Management Systems
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript preferred
  • Knowledge and experience using visual storytelling techniques
  • Self-motivated, technical, willing to learn, and focused on deliverables and execution
  • Strong ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems
  • Experience using analytics tools such as GA4, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Hotjars, etc
  • Proficient in Web Design Tools (Webflow, Figma, XD, Axure, etc), Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Experience with Web management best practices including standard UCD methodologies, search engine optimization, responsive platforms and design, and accessibility standards
