TheSenior Manager, Digital Content Strategyplays a key role in shaping and executing the digital content strategy for Cytiva's flagship website, cytiva.com. This role focuses on developing customer-centric, digital-first content that enhances the user experience, supports business objectives, and reflects the brand's voice. As a strategic contributor, you will collaborate across teams to deliver content that drives engagement, conversion, and long-term value.

Reporting to the Director, Digital Content Strategy, this on-site role on the Brand Marketing team in Marlborough, MA is an exciting opportunity for a digital content professional who thrives on continuous improvement and innovation. You'll use web analytics and user insights to identify opportunities, optimize content performance, and translate data into strategic recommendations.

Success in this role requires curiosity, a growth mindset, and the ability to establish and evolve content governance and best practices that enhance the customer experience and strengthen brand consistency.

What you will do:

  • From ideation to implementation, you will develop content strategies that align with brand identity, customer needs, and business goals, while ensuring brand consistency and compliance with legal and regulatory standards across all digital content assets and channels.
  • Create and optimise digital content to improve user experience, drive traffic, and support lead generation.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, UI/UX experts, writers, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive messaging and content alignment.
  • Analyse content performance using web analytics tools and apply insights to refine strategy, improve outcomes, and inform governance best practices.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, SEO best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance content effectiveness.

Who you are:

  • Deep Digital Content Expertise: Extensive experience developing and executing content strategy, digital marketing initiatives, and B2B web content programs that align customer needs with business objectives and drive measurable engagement.
  • Strong Leadership & Operational Excellence: Proven ability to lead people, processes, and cross-functional projects while continuously improving workflows, establishing best practices, and managing complex content initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Global & Matrixed Environment Experience: Demonstrated success working across international teams and highly matrixed, regulated B2B organizations, effectively navigating multiple stakeholders, priorities, and compliance requirements.
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging web analytics, performance metrics, and customer insights to identify trends, optimize content strategies, improve user experience, and influence business outcomes.
  • Exceptional Communicator & Storyteller: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling customer-centric narratives, simplify complex concepts, engage diverse audiences, and clearly articulate business value. Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, Communications, or a related field required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, SEO, and basic web technologies (HTML, CSS).
  • Familiarity with the Agile framework for project execution.
