Job description

The Web Developer will actively participate in web development efforts, driving continuous improvement and innovative testing to enhance our consumer experience. This will involve conducting A/B testing, implementing interactivity enhancements, and optimizing UX/UI within a variety of products including headless CMS, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platforms. You will play a vital part in the testing cycle for various channels and assist in defining and measuring test outcomes. Supporting daily, weekly, and monthly campaign strategies from a development perspective will be crucial to achieving successful outcomes. Staying current with industry best practices and applying them judiciously will be essential in this role. Additionally, the Web Developer will actively contribute to promoting a risk-aware culture while ensuring adherence to required standards and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Independently contribute to web development efforts by establishing continuous improvement and innovative testing to enhance our consumer experience; including A/B testing, interactivity enhancements, UX/UI implementation, prototyping websites within headless Content Management Systems (HEADLESS CMS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platforms.


Participate in decision making regarding technical solutions by understanding and discussing technical design options, and weighing pros and cons.


Support daily-weekly-monthly campaign strategies by providing development expertise to digital marketing and analytics web development.


Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and apply them to tasks and projects as appropriate.


Exemplify the efforts in promoting a risk-aware culture and adhering to required standards and processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Associate's FIELD OF STUDY: Web Development

EXPERIENCE: 3+ year web development, in-house or agency

CERTIFICATION(S): Equivalent software or web development certification.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

  • Extensive understanding of HEADLESS content management systems (Contentstack, Contentful, Sanity), Software-as-a-Service platforms, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms
  • Designed and implemented reusable content models and structured data schemas to support seamless content delivery across web and mobile web sites via REST/GraphQL APIs
  • Proficient in creating web content using modern web development standards including React.js, Node.js, Vue, TypeScript, API integration and development
  • Experience in supporting tactical campaigns (analytics, A/B testing, SEO)
  • Proficient in version control systems (Azure DevOps), Developer Tools, and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio Code
  • Intermediate proficiency in the MS Office Suite
  • A self-starter who is eager to learn, focused, and passionate about creating well-designed and thoroughly tested responsive site designs
  • Team-player who thrives in a rapid growth environment which constantly evolves and presents new and exciting challenges every day

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's FIELD OF STUDY: Software Engineer

EXPERIENCE: 4+ years web development

CERTIFICATION(S): Equivalent software or web development certification

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

  • Experience with mobile frameworks and development such as React Native
  • Familiarity with web design and prototyping software including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud products.
  • Familiarity with project management and issue-tracking tools (Jira)
  • Proficient database management and API integration (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Postman, Express)
  • Experience in Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) integration for web, including Adobe Experience Platform Tags
  • Familiar with Cloud based application development, such as Amazon S3, Lambda, DigitalOcean Droplets

Starting Compensation

Annual Salary: $84,200.00 - $90,000.00 (Amount based on office location, relevant experience, skills, and competencies)
