Job description

Role: Partners closely with cross-functional teams (IT, Business Intelligence, Marketing, and Operations) to ensure that member-facing digital tools align with organizational goals and technical requirements.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Enhance SEO across all webpages by optimizing content, keywords, and titles.
  • Lead website design, updates, and maintenance for all AmFirst sites, including amfirst.org, Mortgage Services, and the AmFirst Financial site. Maintain and update online forms and links to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security protocols.
  • Coordinate with white-label partners to maintain brand, content, and functional cohesion.
  • Collaborate with operations and vendors to improve the member experience on the website and app, assisting end users as needed.
  • Utilize Google Analytics to monitor website and app performance, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate and assist with app updates and enhancements, coordinating closely with our online banking provider and communicating changes across departments. Troubleshoot and resolve app-related member issues via our online banking CMS.
  • Partner with website vendor (BloomCU) on ongoing UX research and website optimization initiatives.
  • In conjunction with IT update and redesign organizational email signatures as needed, and ensure timely renewal and management of website security certificates.
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned.

Performance Measurements:

1. Maintains up-to-date content, links, and forms on all sites while remaining in compliance with regulatory and compliance issues.
2. Minimizes downtime for our online banking and app.
3. Keeps management informed of any issues or member service issues related to our website and/or app.
4. Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations related to our websites and app.
5. Taking ownership of technology issues and working them to a solution with clear communication throughout the process.
6. To proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen the knowledge base and proficiencies.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Three to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important, and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

Other Skills: Proficient in SEO strategy, content creation, and page optimization. Skilled in web design and maintenance, with an eye for user experience and accessibility. Familiar with Google Analytics, online form creation, and digital communication tools. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Understanding of web security practices and certificate management. Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Ability to create and maintain technical and procedural documentation for digital properties. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
