For more than 15 years, we have specialized in mobile app development for law enforcement, public safety, emergency management and public health agencies. Our custom apps for iPhone and Android devices help public safety organizations reach their citizens where they are: their smartphones. We have grown to be a leader in our field and are in search other motivated professionals to add to our dynamic team. We are currently recruiting for a Product Owner Part-Time Intern to work on-site at our headquarters in Opelika, Alabama. Our Product Owner Interns are key to ensure timely delivery of our tech products.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including development, design, sales, and marketing, to define product vision, roadmap, and strategy for our website portfolio.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market opportunities, user needs, and industry trends specific to websites.

  • Assist in gathering and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback, market research, and internal stakeholders' input.

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of detailed product documentation, including user stories, specifications, and wireframes, to guide the development process of integrations and websites.

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely and successful delivery of website features and enhancements.

  • Assist with quality control to establish and enforce best practices for ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile apps.

  • Participate in quality control procedures and reviews to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of the mobile app user experience.


What We Require: Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, business, engineering) or equivalent practical experience.

  • Understanding of technical topics pertaining to software and software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).

  • Understanding of UI/UX patterns.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and interns.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality mobile app products that meet customer expectations.
