S. Clyde Weaver is looking to hirea full-time Digital Marketing and eCommerce Specialist.Founded in 1920, S. Clyde Weaver is a family-owned specialty food company known for premium smoked meats, cheeses, gourmet gift boxes, and exceptional customer service.

As we continue to grow our direct-to-consumer business, retail stores, and farmers market presence, we are seeking a Digital Marketing & eCommerce Specialist to help lead the next phase of our digital evolution. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on digital marketing professional who enjoys building customer-focused online experiences, driving eCommerce growth, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives.


S. Clyde Weaver is currently transitioning from a predominantly agency-supported eCommerce model toward a more internally driven digital marketing and eCommerce operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and optimizing our current digital ecosystem while helping shape future platform, customer experience, content, and growth strategies. While the company currently operates on a WordPress-based platform, this individual will help evaluate future technologies, tools, and eCommerce platforms to ensure our digital experience continues to meet customer expectations and support long-term growth objectives.

This position is ideal for a digital marketing or eCommerce professional who has developed strong technical and marketing skills through an agency environment or larger organization and is looking for the opportunity to take ownership of a brand's digital presence.

You may currently be managing multiple clients, supporting a large corporate marketing team, or contributing to only one piece of the customer journey. At S. Clyde Weaver, you'll have the opportunity to apply your experience across website management, customer experience, email marketing, SEO, content strategy, and eCommerce growth initiatives while working directly with company leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Website & eCommerce Management

  • Maintain, update, and optimize company websites and digital properties.
  • Manage product content, promotions, merchandising, pricing, and online inventory presentation.
  • Build impactful landing pages and digital experiences that align with established brand standards.
  • Monitor website performance and identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, conversion, and revenue.
  • Support ongoing website enhancements, testing, and digital growth initiatives.

Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, customer retention programs, and promotional initiatives.
  • Manage and support social media content and digital communications.
  • Assist with content creation, promotional campaigns, seasonal marketing efforts, and brand storytelling.
  • Support SEO, paid media, and digital customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Ensure all digital touchpoints consistently reflect the quality, heritage, and values of the S. Clyde Weaver brand, following brand guidelines.

Customer Experience & Conversion Optimization

  • Develop and improve customer experiences from website entry through checkout and post-purchase communications.
  • Champion a seamless customer journey across eCommerce, retail locations, and farmers market channels.

Brand Experience, Content & SEO Leadership

  • Monitor industry trends, consumer behavior, and best-in-class digital experiences across specialty food, gourmet gifting, direct-to-consumer, and retail food brands.
  • Regularly evaluate competitor websites, email programs, content strategies, and customer experiences to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure S. Clyde Weaver's online presence remains visually compelling, customer-focused, and aligned with evolving consumer expectations.
  • Maintain a high level of SEO positioning, and ensure website content, product pages, landing pages, and blog content are optimized to improve organic search visibility and performance.
  • Utilize analytics and search performance data to identify keyword opportunities, content strategies, and website optimization initiatives.

Operations & Fulfillment Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Fulfillment teams to support a seamless order fulfillment experience.
  • Help manage shipping configurations, delivery options, and fulfillment workflows across a broad range of products, including gift boxes, smoked meats, fresh meats, cheeses, and perishable products.
  • Ensure shipping tables and fulfillment processes remain competitive and aligned with industry best practices across all product categories.
  • Support initiatives that improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and order accuracy.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, website management, or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience managing website content, digital marketing campaigns, and online merchandising.
  • Experience with content management systems and eCommerce platforms.
  • Strong understanding or customer experience, conversion optimization, and digital commerce best practices.
  • Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce.
  • Experience with Shopify, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, Magento, or other similar eCommerce platforms.
  • Experience with email marketing and automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, keyword search, technical SEO fundamentals, and content optimization strategies.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar performance measurement tools.
  • Experience participating in website redesigns, platform migrations, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with consumer brands, retail, specialty food, gourmet gifting, or direct-to-consumer businesses.
