Job description

We are seeking a Commercial Waterproofing Estimator to join the team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator who values quality over bid volume and wants to work on technically challenging commercial projects while earning exceptional compensation through a highly rewarding profit-sharing program.
What You'll Do as the Commercial Waterproofing Estimator:
  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial waterproofing projects, primarily focused on new construction
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop competitive project pricing
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
  • Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier proposals
  • Participate in bid strategy meetings and contribute to proposal development
  • Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, developers, and industry partners
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from estimating through project award
  • Identify opportunities to expand work with existing clients and strategic partners
  • Visit local project sites as needed to support estimating efforts

Must-Haves as the Commercial Waterproofing Estimator:
  • 3+ years of commercial waterproofing estimating experience
  • Experience estimating commercial construction projects
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong understanding of labor, material, and subcontractor pricing
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar estimating software

Nice-to-Haves as the Commercial Waterproofing Estimator:
  • Experience estimating commercial new construction projects
  • Commercial restoration estimating experience
  • Mission critical or data center project experience
  • Experience with building envelope systems
  • Existing relationships with Texas general contractors and developers
