Job description

We are hiring a Junior Roofing Project Manager / Estimator to support roofing, waterproofing, deck coating, exterior restoration, and tenant improvement projects from job walk through closeout.

This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of experience in roofing, waterproofing, exterior restoration, construction project coordination, estimating, or field operations who wants to grow into a full project management role.

The right candidate should be comfortable visiting jobsites, reviewing field conditions, helping build scopes and estimates, coordinating crews and subcontractors, communicating with clients, and supporting project execution. This is a hands-on role with strong earning potential for someone who is motivated, organized, and interested in growing within roofing and exterior restoration.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with job walks, field measurements, and existing-condition assessments
  • Support estimating for roofing, waterproofing, deck coating, balcony repair, exterior restoration, and tenant improvement projects
  • Help prepare labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and project pricing
  • Assist with proposals, scopes of work, exclusions, clarifications, and pricing options
  • Follow up with clients and help support the sales and proposal process
  • Coordinate awarded projects from planning and mobilization through punch list and closeout
  • Work with Superintendents, crew leaders, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects moving
  • Visit active jobsites to monitor progress, safety, quality, staffing, production, and client expectations
  • Track project updates, schedules, change orders, material needs, costs, and documentation
  • Build relationships with property managers, HOA communities, general contractors, commercial property owners, and referral partners
  • Support project profitability, client satisfaction, and successful project delivery

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in roofing, waterproofing, deck coating, exterior restoration, building repair, construction project coordination, or a related field
  • Experience with reroofing, leak remediation, waterproofing systems, coatings, balcony/deck repairs, or exterior restoration preferred
  • Ability to learn estimating, project pricing, proposal preparation, and project management processes
  • Comfortable working in both the office and field/jobsite environments
  • Strong communication skills with clients, crews, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, active jobsites, and client updates
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership
  • Comfortable supporting business development and building client relationships
  • Experience with multifamily, HOA, commercial, or property management clients is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
