Job description

30 year plus Residential and Commercial Construction/Waterproofing Company specializing in waterproofing/drainage, foundation repair, restoration services and remodeling looking for an experienced, administratively sound Construction/Waterproofing Project Manager.

This is an in-office position, and all projects will be managed off our database. This position is majority office however, some site visits may be necessary. Communication and computer literacy is essential in this role. The ideal candidate will need to have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment, balancing priorities, and project assignments. Capable of managing several projects at once from start to finish and perform well under stress and pressure. Must be knowledgeable in all phases of residential and commercial construction.

This person will be responsible for securing sub-contractors, pulling permits, customer interaction, scheduling and successfully completing projects that meet the requirements for project margins, schedules, budgets, and quality of service. The Construction/Waterproofing Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project from pre-construction to post construction, including but not limited to customer relations and collections for each project. The Construction/Waterproofing Project Manager should also be able to identify additional sales/business opportunities and be able to close or facilitate to the Sales Department for them to close.Salary plus commission.

Responsibilities Include:

Computer literate, use of I-360 and or Sales Force

Managing multiple projects at one time.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction/waterproofing department.

Work in conjunction with the Sales Department to maintain, develop and create sales opportunities. Commissions apply

Effectively communicates relevant project updates and status to management.

Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.

Formulate and executes project schedule.

Submitting permits.

Hire / Manage sub-contractors, construction crews and employees.

Work directly with Upper Management.

Must know the trades and have a hands-on approach for management and getting things done.

Qualifications:

MUST BE EXPERIENCED AND PROFESSIONAL!

Minimum (20) years of construction experience with a CSL preferred.

A mature professional with excellent judgment.

Construction/field experience and project management skills.

Exceptional communications skills written and verbal.

Computer skills for scheduling project tracking.

A self-motivated and results-oriented individual.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is very well organized, able to multi-task and be able to take projects from start to finish quickly.

Someone who is a Team Player with a Whatever it Takes attitude.
