Job description

Division 7 Construction, Inc., is a Firestop/Fireproofing/Waterproofing contractor that is fast-growing with work throughout the Southeast predominantly, though we are based in Birmingham, AL. D7 is known for professional, quality work and out-of-the-box solutions. Pay is above industry average, training provided, and there is plenty of room for growth!


Candidate will be responsible for :


  • Install exterior joint sealant
  • Apply below-grade membranes and fluid waterproofing systems
  • Apply traffic coatings and other elastomeric coatings
  • Apply fluid and membrane air barriers
  • Install expansion joint assemblies
  • Install epoxy floor joint fillers
  • Apply hot rubberized asphalt waterproofing
  • Concrete repair
  • Other duties as necessary


SKILLS NEEDED:

Required:

  • Excellent caulking skills
  • Prior waterproofing - expansion joints, air barrier, hot applied, below grade
  • GOOD WORK ETHIC
  • Common Sense
  • Ability to Lift 50 lbs and over
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willing to travel 2-3 weeks at a time
  • Ability to pass drug screen
  • Punctuality


Desired:

  • Concrete repair and restoration
  • Familiarity with operation and maintenance of Graco pumps
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Card / Training
  • Lift certification(s)
  • CPR/First Aid training/certification
  • Carpentry skills
  • Ability to read construction documents
