Waterproofing Technician

Position Summary

Deluxe Waterproofing & Caulking, Inc. is seeking a skilled Waterproofing Technician to install and apply a variety of waterproofing and sealant systems in a safe, professional, and high-quality manner. This role supports field operations, foremen, and superintendents to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to Deluxeโ€™s high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install a wide range of waterproofing systems, including sheet-applied, fluid-applied, and cementitious coatings.
  • Perform caulking and joint sealant applications (polyurethane and silicone) using sausage guns and producing clean, professional finishes.
  • Assist with material prep, mixing, cleanup, and maintaining organized work areas.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA, fall protection, and company-specific procedures.
  • Communicate daily with foremen and office staff through DeluxeField for reporting, timekeeping, training, and photo documentation.
  • Safely and efficiently operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Work with integrity and uphold Deluxeโ€™s reputation for quality workmanship and professionalism on every project.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in waterproofing or a related construction trade.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • A smartphone (required for timekeeping and coordination in our field app).
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolds, and lifts as required.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
