The Oshkosh Waterfront Hotel is a newly remodeled 176-room hotel soon to be the only full-service Marriott property in our area. Located on the riverfront in downtown Oshkosh WI, the hotel offers stunning views of the Fox River and Lake Winnebago. It is an ideal setting for meetings, conferences, corporate events, and weddings.
Position Description
We are seeking a full-time and part-time Guest Services Representative to provide outstanding service at our front lobby desk. This position is the first point of contact for our guests and is responsible for checking guests in and out of their rooms, providing reservation assistance, and assisting guests with questions and concerns to ensure a comfortable stay.
Job Description:
  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival.
  • Check guests in and out of their rooms.
  • Take and process reservations.
  • Respond to questions regarding the hotel, downtown, surrounding communities, events, attractions, and businesses.
  • Solve and resolve concerns or complaints to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate professional and effective communication skills and basic math aptitude.
  • Ensure room status is up-to-date and notify maintenance of room repairs.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance behind the front desk.

Requirements
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently; write legibly.
  • Have a neat, well-groomed appearance.
  • Must have flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Maintain pleasant personality and excellent service skills.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
