Job description

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO

- To act as an ambassador of the resort by providing special assistance and information, confirming reservations, fielding all incoming calls. ย 

- Answer the telephone and greet prospective guests in a friendly manner using clear, verbal English communication. Listen to callers to understand inquiries and requests. Promptly provide accurate information regarding availability, amenities, transportation, rate, etc.

- Promote current Waterfront rooms or F&B specials in outlets.

- Process and confirm reservations based on guestsโ€™ preferences and availability.

- Requires sitting for long periods of time in a confined space and in close proximity to other associates to continuously perform essential functions.

WHAT YOU BRING

-ย Ability to effectively deal with internal and external guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.

- Basic mathematical and calculator skills to prepare mathematical calculations without error, e.g., correcting guest folios.

- Ability to listen effectively, to speak and write English clearly.

- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.

- Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions.

- Learning and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.

ย - You're highly creative, with strong interpersonal skills!

- Professional phone etiquette, writing skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
