Job description

Position Summary

The Installer is responsible for assembling and installing Slick Slide’s patent-pending dry slide systems at indoor and outdoor facilities nationwide. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, focused on executing high-quality installations that meet Slick Slide’s safety, design, and innovation standards.

Installers work closely with Project Leads and Managers to prepare sites, unload materials, assemble slide structures, and test for final sign-off. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, team-oriented, and comfortable working on-site in varied conditions to bring our attractions to life.


Key Responsibilities

1. Installation Support

  • Assist with assembly of slide components, frames, and platforms under supervision.

  • Help prepare the installation site, including layout marking, staging materials, and maintaining a safe workspace.

  • Provide hands-on support to Level 2 and Level 3 installers during assembly and testing.

  • Perform basic measurements, drilling, and fastening tasks as directed.

2. Safety & Quality

  • Follow all company, OSHA, and site-specific safety procedures at all times.

  • Attend safety briefings and immediately report potential hazards or incidents.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project.

3. Team Collaboration

  • Take direction from senior installers and work cooperatively with the crew.

  • Communicate progress or issues promptly to the Installation Lead.

  • Represent Slick Slide professionally on-site and assist with client or partner requests when asked.

4. Tools & Materials Handling

  • Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and hardware at installation sites.

  • Properly handle and maintain tools, ensuring everything is accounted for daily.

  • Support inventory tracking and assist with documentation of materials used.


Qualifications

1. Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school experience preferred.

2. Experience:

· 1–2 years of construction, fabrication, mechanical assembly, or related field experience.

· Prior experience using hand and power tools required.

· On-the-job training provided for Slick Slide installation methods, safety procedures, and quality standards.

3. Skills & Competencies:

· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

· Ability to read and interpret drawings and assembly instructions.

· Effective teamwork and communication skills.

· Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision in the field.

· Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as projects require.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position requiring open availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, to accommodate installation schedules and travel. Overtime may be required based on project demands.
