Job description

The Water Damage Restoration Technician plays a critical role in assessing and mitigating water damage in residential and commercial properties. Working in small teams of 2-5 members and reporting to the Project Manager, this technician uses specialized equipment and techniques to extract water, prevent mold growth, and restore affected areas safely and efficiently while maintaining strong customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform water extraction using appropriate tools and equipment
  • Set up drying systems including dehumidifiers and air movers
  • Assess damage to determine restoration scope
  • Prevent mold growth through remediation techniques
  • Operate restoration and drying equipment safely and effectively
  • Remove debris and ensure proper site cleanup
  • Comply with all safety regulations and standards
  • Communicate clearly with customers and document restoration progress

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in water damage restoration
