HDR is looking for a Project Manager with a background in the water and utility management industry to join our growing Water Business Group team in Atlanta. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects through planning, evaluation, and design and construction phases while also working with current and potential clients to further our growth objectives across Georgia. Project types could include master plans, utility management related evaluations and assessments, and the design, assessment, and evaluations of water transmission pipelines, water pump stations, wastewater collection systems, wastewater pump stations, and treatment infrastructure projects. They will need to be skilled in planning studies, environmental services, coordinating with subconsultants and utility owners, and performing office services during construction. They will also be expected to direct delivery and production staff and perform client management activities to support our South Atlantic Area based Water team.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience with water / wastewater projects
Master's degree is a plu
Georgia PE or ability to obtain

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management
  • Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
  • MS Office and MS Project experience is required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
