Job description

Bottled Water Delivery Representative

Culligan Water located in Elizabeth City is looking to hire a full-time bottled water delivery representative. The Route Driver performs deliveries along a specific route, daily. Additionally, drivers are expected to deliver a high degree of service that exceeds the expectations of customers.

Benefits

Pay starts at $17/hr during training. Once trained, $20-$25/hour.

Responsibilities

Deliver bottled water to homes and businesses in an efficient and timely manner. Repetitive lifting and pushing of heavy product and equipment. Loading/unloading either a van or 6-8 bay beverage truck with 40 bottle palletized racks. Other duties may include cleaning and sanitation of water dispensers, general warehouse cleaning and organization. Perform routine customer service tasks. Maintaining positive public relations. Ability to operate carts, dollies, forklifts, lift gates, hand trucks, and hand tools. Follow all safety protocols and company regulations. Consistently uphold the cleanliness standards of company vehicles and equipment. End-of-route supervisor check-ins, with daily recaps.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent GED. A valid driver's license with clean driving record. Ability to comply with a background check and drug screening, when necessary. Ability to use a mobile device or tablet. Able to effectively engage with strangers and establish professional relationships. Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates. Clean and professional appearance. Able to regularly lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the day (more than 70% of the time). Able to spend a significant amount of time walking, standing, sitting and climbing in and out of the delivery vehicle. Body movements typically used: bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, reaching above the shoulder, crouching, balancing, pushing and pulling. Hand movements typically used: twisting, turning, pulling, pushing, tapping, hitting and squeezing.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
