A leading water-focused engineering firm is seeking a Senior Water Engineer to step into a client-facing leadership role supporting public agency clients across Southern California. This position is ideal for a seasoned civil engineer with deep experience in water master planning, strong regional relationships, and an interest in bridging water resources and hydrogeology services. The Role This is a senior-level opportunity combining technical leadership, client management, and business development.

You'll serve as a trusted advisor to cities and water districts while partnering closely with internal technical leaders to deliver integrated water solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead and grow relationships with Southern California water districts and municipal agencies Serve as Client Service Manager for strategic water and infrastructure planning programs Oversee and guide water resources and utility master planning efforts Collaborate with hydrogeology, modeling, and environmental teams to deliver integrated solutions Support pursuit strategy, proposals, and long-term account growth Mentor and support engineers and project managers Represent the firm at industry events and client meetings What We're Looking For 15+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on water resources Strong background in water / utility master planning Established relationships with Southern California cities and water districts California PE license (preferred) Experience managing public-sector clients and complex planning programs Hydrogeology experience or close collaboration with hydrogeology teams is a plus Strong communicator with a strategic, client-first mindset Why Consider This Role Senior leadership position with autonomy and influence Opportunity to shape long-term client partnerships in a critical water market Collaborative, mission-driven firm focused on sustainable water solutions High visibility role with growth potential across Southern California If you are interested, please apply below
