Job description

CDL Water Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Water Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating water trucks to transport and distribute water for various construction applications. This position is based locally in Lapel, and will be home every night.

Responsibilities
  • Operate water trucks safely and efficiently in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Transport and distribute water to designated locations on construction sites.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate hours and water meter records.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure timely and accurate water delivery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the water truck.
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
Qualifications
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
  • Proven experience as a water truck driver or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
  • Ability to operate water truck equipment and controls.
