Customer Service Associate - Car Wash

Job Level: Entry-Level

Location: Niles, IL

Status: Full-Time & Part-Time

Compensation: $15 - $16 plus commission, OTE $20+ per hour

Benefits: We offer flexible scheduling with both part-time and full-time positions available, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week. Team members enjoy free car washes and the opportunity to earn commission on monthly wash membership sales.

About the Role:

At WashU, a Customer Service Attendant (CSA) is ultimately focused on delivering exceptional customer service. Their primary responsibility is to sell monthly memberships to help our customers get the best value and unlimited access to our services. CSA's are how our customers experience WashU and should always aim to represent the brand as a fun, high-quality, and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers warmly, answering questions about services and memberships, and encouraging sign-ups for monthly membership packages
  • Promote and upsell premium wash services
  • Process cash and credit card payments while maintaining accurate transactions and customer records
  • Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate car wash equipment, including power washers, vacuums, and other cleaning tools, and monitor vehicles during the wash process to ensure quality service
  • Perform general facility upkeep, including washing floors, emptying trash cans, and cleaning equipment

Key Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; sales experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while providing high-quality customer service
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Reliable and punctual with a willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Physically able to operate car wash equipment and perform general cleaning tasks

No prior car wash experience is required-we provide on-site training to help you succeed.
