Job description

Job Title: Warehousing Assistant
Location: Ames, Iowa
Join our team at our seed corn production facility in Ames, Iowa! As we expand our operations, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in the warehouse on a seasonal basis!

Starting Rate: $18.25/hour
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Receiving and unloading shipments of seed corn.
  • Sorting and organizing products in the warehouse.
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Operate within safety guidelines and job requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • On-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required (training will be provided).
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
  • Capable of working effectively alone or as part of a crew.
  • Willingness to adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
