Job description

Bilingual Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Pay: $22.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Day shift | Weekend availability required (minimum one weekend day)
Position Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead a high-volume warehouse team of approximately 35–50 employees. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is confident managing a large team, maintaining productivity expectations, and keeping warehouse operations organized and moving efficiently.

This position is approximately 90% warehouse-floor based. The ideal candidate is a strong, visible leader who is comfortable making decisions, addressing performance concerns, maintaining accountability, and working alongside the operation when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise a warehouse crew of approximately 35–50 employees

  • Oversee the unloading, sorting, palletizing, staging, and loading of freight

  • Maintain a consistent operational pace to keep trailers processing efficiently

  • Ensure freight is accurately palletized and separated by store/location

  • Monitor scanning accuracy and minimize mis-sorts

  • Maintain accurate records of unload times, productivity, and operational numbers

  • Ensure freight is staged and loaded accurately at the end of the day

  • Monitor workflow and adjust employee assignments based on operational needs

  • Communicate expectations clearly and hold team members accountable for productivity, accuracy, attendance, and safety

  • Identify and address workflow or performance issues before they impact the operation

  • Assist with staging, loading, and other warehouse functions as needed

  • Maintain consistent communication with warehouse management

  • Report directly to the Assistant Terminal Manager

What We're Looking For

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, freight, logistics, or high-volume operations supervisory experience

  • Proven experience leading a large team; experience supervising 30+ employees strongly preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required

  • Strong leadership presence and ability to maintain control of a busy warehouse floor

  • Confident communicator who can give clear direction and address employee issues professionally

  • Able to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Strong attention to accuracy, productivity, and operational deadlines

  • Comfortable spending the majority of the shift actively on the warehouse floor

  • Able to work independently without requiring constant management direction

  • Weekend availability required

  • Security-related experience/background is a plus

The Right Fit

This role is best suited for a hands-on warehouse leader, not a desk-based supervisor. We are looking for someone who can walk onto a busy floor, confidently lead a large crew, establish expectations, keep employees productive, and ensure freight continues moving accurately and on schedule.

Candidates should be comfortable balancing people management, productivity, accuracy, and hands-on warehouse operations throughout the shift.
