Job description

A growing industrial equipment and process solutions company in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on work, a stable schedule, and room to grow within a company that values its people. The ideal person is reliable and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
- Handle shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and matching purchase orders to sales orders
- Read and interpret orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped
- Move materials between receiving, storage, and shipping areas
- Sort and organize materials on racks and shelves according to product code
- Operate a forklift and, when needed, drive a company vehicle
- Assist with physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe for associates and visitors
- Label and mark materials using appropriate identification methods
- Support day-to-day facility needs and coordinate with vendors as needed
Warehouse Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds regularly
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with solid written and verbal communication skills
