JOB DESCRIPTION
The Imports Warehouse Lead, Outbound, is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager in the daily operations of the outbound import warehouse. This position oversees workflow, ensures operational efficiency, maintains inventory accuracy, and promotes compliance with company policies and safety standards. The Warehouse Lead serves as a resource for import warehouse associates, helping coordinate daily activities while ensuring productivity and quality expectations are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and oversee daily outbound warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor palletization standards to ensure loads are built safely, securely, and according to company specifications.
  • Analyze operational dashboards and reports to maintain workflow and address issues as they occur.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and other warehouse documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate outbound pickups while maintaining effective communication with operations, purchasing, and other departments.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment, in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Perform order selection, proper labeling, staging, loading, and inventory movement as needed.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems to maintain records, generate reports, and communicate operational updates.
  • Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Train, coach, and provide guidance to warehouse associates on proper procedures, productivity expectations, and safety practices.
  • Monitor employee performance and communicate concerns or improvement opportunities to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse safety standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment.
  • This role requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Each employee is assigned a regular start time on their first day, which remains in effect unless the role or schedule changes due to business need. When possible, schedule changes will be communicated at least one week in advance. Employees are expected to stay until all assigned duties are completed.
