Job description

Position Description: INVENTORY SPECIALIST/WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Inventory Specialist/Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping goods in a warehouse setting in addition to restocking and counting inventory. This role prioritizes inventory flow with an addition to other warehouse roles. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Main Key Responsibilities:
• Tracking inventory levels – making sure counts are accurate at all times.
• Updating inventory systems – logging items in SamPro.
• Conducting cycle counts & audits – regular physical counts to catch discrepancies
• Investigating shortages or overages – figuring out what went wrong and fixing it
• Coordinating with the team – warehouse and procurement
• Organizing storage areas – keeping the warehouse and inventory clean and efficient
• Pick, stage, and organize materials for outgoing jobs based on daily schedules and priorities
• Complete truck inventory audits/cycle counts – ensure vehicles are clean/presentable prior to dispatching back to technician
• Stock technician trucks with predetermined inventory per stocking list
Additional Responsibilities:
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and related tools
• Reordering stock – flagging low inventory and helping prevent stockouts
• Preparing inventory reports – sharing insights on usage, trends, and needs
• Supporting loss prevention – helping reduce waste, damage, or theft
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a warehouse inventory role is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery (training provided if necessary)
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
• Previous forklift operator experience a plus- will provide certification and training if needed
