Job description

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as necessary as customer demands could cause staff to work outside normal business operating hours.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Warehouse Associate your primary duty will be to service, protect and care for our customers goods that are stored in our facility warehouse space. In this role you will be tasked with utilizing various pieces of warehouse equipment to accomplish work activity. On a daily basis it will be the principal duty of the Warehouse Associate to provide a utility service for the business by working special projects, fixing customer damage, perform housekeeping items all with a high degree of safety in mind. Associates will need to be good at counting, keeping track and documenting all activity pertaining to projects and housekeeping.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct all warehouse functions guided by company policies and procedures, safety, customer requests and the Customer Service Department
  • Support and abide by the companyโ€™s safety and security programs, initiatives, policies and procedures
  • Complete warehouse tasks utilizing pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, flip machines, hand tools etc.
  • Work special projects such as co-pack, kitting and labeling assignments
  • Provide utility services to the distribution center to include sweeping, cleaning trailers, running floor machines and provide support where needed
  • Fix customer damage on inbound and outbound loads to ensure the company provides a high quality of service
  • Any additional duties as assigned by management

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
