Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager to lead the warehouse operations for the largest custom shoe company in the industry. This pivotal role involves overseeing all facets of warehouse management, supply chain logistics, and distribution processes to ensure seamless production, inventory control, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, implement lean methodologies, and optimize transportation management systems to elevate operational efficiency. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of custom footwear products.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations
  • Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs
  • Create and track KPIs for productivity, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Manage inventory systems and quality control
  • Improve workflow and reduce operational bottlenecks
  • Lead and hold staff accountable to performance standards
  • Implement reporting systems and weekly performance reviews
  • Supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse supervisors ensuring high productivity standards.

Experience

  • Proven experience in operations management within a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in custom footwear or apparel industries.
  • Extensive supervisory experience overseeing department heads in fast-paced settings with a focus on process optimization.
