Job Description
The Operations assistant is an entry level position that help our Operations management stay on top of Production, Packaging, and Warehousing operations. The Operations Assistant helps solidify our culture of service, quality, and excellence through detailed documentation and thorough follow through. Working through the details of operations with each of TKC's professionals, the Operations Assistant has a great vantage point to learn many aspects of food manufacturing from formulation to supply chain to food manufacturing.
  • Support operations management working by helping to process Production & Quality, Shipping & Receiving documentation.
  • Assist with the on-boarding of new clients, new products, and product changes
  • Interact with Customers on Finished Goods shipments.
    • Coordinate outbound logistics of finished goods, and samples
  • Process inventory transactions including inventory transfers, receipts and shipments in our ERP/MRP system.
  • Research and post web and social media content for industry outreach
    • Manage the company's and CEO's LinkedIn profile and campaigns
    • Research up and coming brands and new products
  • Assist with event coordination including managing all the logistics for client visits, trade shows, employee meetings, trainings and events.

Qualifications
Education: Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred.
Experience: The is an entry level position, so any professional experience as an administrative assistant may be considered sufficient. Food industry experience is not required.
