As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor at Kuehne+Nagel, you’ll oversee critical pharmaceutical warehousing operations with precision and care. From managing temperature-sensitive inventory to ensuring compliance with strict regulatory standards, your leadership directly supports the safe and timely delivery of medications. In this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. 


How you create impact

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to partner with the Inventory and Quality departments in resolving operational issues and ensuring smooth, efficient warehouse workflow
  • Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies
  • Ensure GDP compliance by following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and verifying that all warehouse processes, records, and documentation meet required standards and are executed accurately.
  • Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members
  • Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
  • Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, product is counted, and all necessary records and reports are completed accurately and on time
  • Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory
  • Implement continuous improvement action plans
  • Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed


What we would like you to bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • 2 or more years in a supervisory role
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Experience in implementing GDP and broader GxP quality requirements across operational and documentation workflows
  • Experience operating forklift trucks—including order/cherry pickers, reach trucks, and sit‑down forklifts—is a plus
