Location: South Deerfield, MA
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $45–$56/hr
Position Type: Temp-to-Perm


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, drive efficiency across material flow, and ensure accurate, on-time inventory and distribution performance. This role oversees shipping, receiving, warehousing, and logistics across multiple areas while leading continuous improvement initiatives and managing a high-performing team.

You will play a key role in improving operational performance, optimizing warehouse processes, and ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery standards are consistently met.


What You’ll Do
  • Lead end-to-end warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution
  • Drive improvements in material flow, warehouse layout, space utilization, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and system control (WMS/SAP)
  • Oversee logistics activities including carrier management, freight coordination, and shipment optimization
  • Develop and implement SOPs, training programs, and standardized warehouse practices
  • Lead safety (EHS) initiatives, compliance efforts, and warehouse security protocols
  • Manage budgets, operational costs, and performance reporting
  • Track and improve KPIs across Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery
  • Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop warehouse staff while managing performance and accountability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams

What We’re Looking For
  • 5–7+ years of warehouse/logistics experience, including 3–5+ years in leadership
  • Experience in manufacturing or high-volume distribution environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of WMS systems and SAP
  • Experience with Lean, CI, and operational improvement initiatives
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Project or similar)
  • Experience operating or overseeing powered industrial equipment (forklifts, etc.)
