Job Title: Packaging Operator/Warehouse Worker

Location: Hauppauge, NY

Pay Rate: $11-$14

A pharmaceutical company is hiring warehouse and production workers for their facilities on Long Island. Main responsibilities include packaging pharmaceutical products following all SOPs and GMPs. The right candidate should have prior experience or interest working in this type of industry.

S/he should exemplify:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment
  • Comply with all company policies/procedures

Main responsibilities include:

  • Constructing, packing, taping, labeling, palletizing products compliant with written procedures
  • Inspecting packages for defects
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly environment
  • Identifying any improvement opportunities
  • Performing tasks following GMP guidelines and procedures
  • Cleaned and sterilized hopper according to SOP when necessary
  • Ensuring that packaging line is set-up and running productively following all packaging operations
