Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day
The Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through cycle counts, variance reconciliation, root cause analysis, and error resolution. This role works closely with warehouse operations, supervisors, and planning teams to identify inventory discrepancies, correct systemic issues, and improve overall inventory integrity.
How You'll Make an Impact
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inventory counts; reconcile variances and update WMS/ERP per policy
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and document findings, trends, and corrective actions
• Partner with warehouse operations to resolve receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping errors
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to reduce future inventory inaccuracies
• Maintain accurate inventory reports, metrics, audit trails, and support audits and physical inventories
• Provide inventory accuracy feedback, training, and ensure compliance with internal inventory control procedures
What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree preferred) with 2+ years of warehouse inventory or cycle counting experience
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, put away, picking, and shipping processes
• Experience using WMS and/or ERP systems to manage inventory and support audit or regulated environments
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone) and inventory accuracy KPIs
• High attention to detail with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and perform intermediate Excel analysis (pivot tables, lookups)
• Ability to meet physical job requirements, including walking warehouse floors, lifting up to 40 lbs, and operating warehouse equipment as trained
