About the Role

Cathay Home Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to manage the data and documentation that keep our NJ operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for high-accuracy data entry, inventory tracking, and coordinating the flow of shipments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Data & Systems: Process incoming orders in the ERP system; generate shipping documents (ASN, BOL, EDI invoices); and maintain accurate digital/physical records for audits.
  • Shipping & Logistics: Coordinate ocean container schedules and manifest all daily orders. Monitor open pick tickets to ensure on-time delivery and research/correct any shipping errors.
  • Inventory Control: Assist with physical inventory counts and reconcile inbound/outbound shipments against documentation to report discrepancies.
  • Communication: Coordinate with logistics and sales teams to release shipments on schedule. Professional liaison for drivers, carriers, and vendors regarding appointments and deliveries.
  • Support: Handle returns, damages, and cancellations; provide PODs to accounting for chargeback disputes; and assist with general office administration.
Experience
  • Education: Minimum of a two-year college degree.
  • Experience: Prior background in logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse administration.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and EDI systems; ability to quickly learn ERP/WMS software.
  • Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and a professional, customer-service approach.
  • Bilingual: Must be able to fluently speak Chinese (Mandarin) to communicate with shipping partners in China.
