Wardrobe supervisors are in charge of overseeing many aspects of costuming. Their job duties include buying, designing, and repairing costumes, managing dressers, and deciding when actors should make costume changes. They work closely with the theater manager or show director. Qualifications for a career as a wardrobe supervisor often include education in or work experience with fashion, theater, or a related area.
