Job Title: Wardrobe Assistant
Location: Manhattan, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:
An Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) family based in Manhattan is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Wardrobe Assistant to join their established wardrobe team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong eye for fashion, exceptional organizational abilities, and experience handling luxury garments. The position will evolve to include domestic and international travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily wardrobe care, including steaming, ironing, folding, and organizing garments to the highest standard
  • Maintain and manage extensive wardrobe inventories, including couture and high-value clothing collections
  • Track and prioritize the principals favorite and frequently worn items, ensuring they are always prepared and readily available
  • Stage outfits and coordinate wardrobe selections for daily wear, events, and travel
  • Pack and unpack large volumes of clothing efficiently and meticulously for trips
  • Assist with personal shopping, both in-store at exclusive boutiques and online
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with preferred designers, boutiques, and luxury retail partners
  • Coordinate fittings, transport garments to tailors and seamstresses, and oversee alterations
  • Continuously refresh the wardrobe by sourcing new pieces aligned with the principals style

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Flexibility required for weekends and travel as needed

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with luxury wardrobes or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of high-end fashion, designers, and garment care techniques
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle delicate and couture garments with care and discretion
  • Experience with wardrobe inventory systems or tracking methods preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with vendors and retail partners
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Willingness and availability to travel

Compensation:

  • $150,000 - $170,000, commensurate with experience
