Job description

Position Summary... What you'll do...Operations Manager, Asset Protection – Return Center Position Summary: As a key leader in our Return Center, you will champion data-driven decision-making and operational excellence to protect our people, property, and products. You will develop and execute asset protection strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a safe, secure, and efficient fulfillment environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage Data & Technology: Use data analytics and return center technologies to identify risks, analyze root causes, and implement solutions. Develop dashboards and visualizations to inform site leadership and drive performance.
  • Drive Business Solutions: Recommend and implement process improvements to address complex fulfillment challenges, optimize operations, and support business growth. Build business cases for new initiatives with clear ROI or cost savings.
  • Ensure Environmental & Regulatory Compliance: Support audits and regulatory visits, maintain compliance with environmental and safety standards, and integrate best practices into fulfillment processes.
  • Maintain Operational Excellence: Document and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) specific to ecommerce fulfillment, return center processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and site goals.
  • Enhance Asset Protection: Lead investigations into security incidents, monitor for theft and shrinkage, manage access controls, and develop loss prevention strategies tailored to a high-volume, fast-paced fulfillment environment.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Partner with cross-functional teams, present data-driven insights to stakeholders, and prepare clear, actionable reports for site and regional leadership.
  • Influence & Feedback: Guide and influence associates and leaders to adopt best practices, provide and receive feedback, and proactively address site needs.
  • Ensure Employee Health & Safety: Oversee OSHA compliance, coordinate emergency response, design and communicate evacuation plans, and promote a culture of safety throughout the fulfillment center.
  • Drive Process Improvement: Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks, implement process enhancements, and coach team members on continuous improvement methodologies.
Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills in data collection, root cause analysis, and problem-solving within a fulfillment or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in data visualization, dashboard creation, and data governance.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and operational efficiency in ecommerce or logistics settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of asset protection, investigations, and security protocols for fulfillment centers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and feedback skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $126,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
