The Manager, Merchandising Replenishment leads the development and execution of inventory and demand planning strategies to optimize product availability and operational performance. This role involves collaborating with merchants and cross-functional teams to align replenishment initiatives with business objectives, managing complex inventory forecasts, and ensuring efficient order placement and distribution. The position requires strong leadership in supervising associates, driving continuous improvement, and delivering financial results through data-driven decision-making. The manager fosters a high-performing team environment while upholding company policies, ethical standards, and operational excellence.
About the team:
The Merchandising Replenishment team manages the Utility Bedding category, one of the fastest-turning general merchandise segments, encompassing both import and domestic operations. This team drives inventory strategies by forecasting demand, coordinating supply chain activities, and optimizing operational performance to meet business goals. Collaborating closely with merchants and suppliers, the team ensures accurate order placement and efficient stock distribution. Focused on continuous improvement, the team leverages data analytics and cross-functional partnerships to enhance replenishment processes and deliver value to customers while supporting overall company objectives.
What you'll do:
  • Drive execution of business plans by identifying operational needs, removing obstacles, and adjusting performance to meet objectives.
  • Supervise and develop associates through training, mentoring, performance evaluations, and coaching to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Develop and implement complex inventory and demand planning strategies aligned with merchandising priorities and supplier capabilities.
  • Collaborate with merchants to align replenishment strategies, monitor forecasts, and ensure accurate store quantity distribution.
  • Analyze inventory flow and financial data to optimize stock levels, improve efficiency, and achieve financial targets.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and communicate key performance metrics to stakeholders.
