Job description

Role Summary/Purpose:

This role reports to the Marketing Leader and is a key contributor to the Walgreens CRM strategy. It will manage, implement, and measure marketing initiatives that drive in-store new applications and account acquisitions, and will partner with the Lifecycle Leader to execute and manage PLCC lifecycle campaigns.

The role will collaborate with Walgreens Lifecycle, Digital, and Loyalty leaders to ensure efficient, effective, and timely program execution.

This position is open to all U.S. SYF hybrid, hoteling, and virtual hub locations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead in-store acquisition and PLCC activation programs (e.g., POS offers, in-store signage, store goals, recognition, and accountability).

  • Serve as the primary contact for the Walgreens in-store acquisition and PLCC marketing strategy

  • Own in-store acquisition testing and measurement in partnership with Analytics (briefs, targeting criteria, test matrix, timelines, execution, and results analysis).

  • Collaborate with Lifecycle, Loyalty, Digital, and Field teams to prioritize and deliver acquisition channel roadmap enhancements.

  • Partner with the Lifecycle Leader on shared initiatives (e.g., co-brand campaign setup and execution oversight).

  • Implement client marketing campaigns with central teams (Marketing Solutions, Loyalty COE, Legal/Compliance).

  • Partner with Engagement, Field Sales, and in-store teams on campaign execution, signage, incentives, and training.

  • Act as the team SME for Walgreens Marketing and Legal Reviews.

  • Lead end-to-end program development and execution: creative development, campaign workbook setup/approvals, collateral management, legal revisions, and agency/vendor management.

  • Manage the internal campaign review process and required approvals (Legal, Compliance, Fair Lending, Loyalty Review Board).

  • Maintain campaign tracking and results documentation across Acquisition and Lifecycle; build and manage a centralized repository of campaign summaries/results.

  • Ensure strong controls and accuracy for campaign/reward submissions to support clean audits.

  • Identify and scale effective marketing techniques and platform capabilities in partnership with central teams.

  • Support additional strategic projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Digital related field OR in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 4+ years of Marketing experience.

  • At least two years of marketing or related experience preferably in credit card or financial services.

  • At least two years of strong project management experience.

  • Ability to travel as needed (~20%).

Grade/Level: 11

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
