Job Title: VTC Technician Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced VTC Technician (Level 2) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide variety of VTC equipment, including cameras, microphones, video displays, speakers, audio mixers, DVD players, video matrix switches, wires, and cables.
* Conduct site surveys to design and install A/V systems based on customer requirements.
* Perform routine operational tests and fault isolation on AV/VTC systems and equipment.
* Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections of AV/VTC equipment.
* Empower users with knowledge and training on control, interfaces, and use of the audio/visual and VTC equipment.
* Develop plans for re-engineering and replacing legacy systems to improve customer productivity, enhance maintainability, and reduce costs.
* Ability to travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) in support of UC operations.
* Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs, crawl, and walk long distances.
* Proficient in Microsoft Visio and Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
* Thorough understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) VTC system requirements. Qualifications: Required: * 3 - 5 years of comprehensive experience with VTC A/V (Audio & Video) systems. Alternatively, 7+ years of experience in VTC A/V systems without a Bachelor's degree.
* Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
* Security+
* ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioners Certificate
* Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility. Desired: * Comfortable in high visibility and customer-facing environments.
* Demonstrate strong communication and multitasking skills.
