Serves as a technical lead for AV engineering activities supporting executive and mission-critical conference environments, ensuring systems meet operational and performance requirements. Installs and tests AV cabling, equipment racks, displays, speakers, and associated hardware; reads and interprets technical drawings and schematics; and performs system testing, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance. Provides engineering support for AV system modernization, room design, and integration of multi-vendor equipment, and travels as required to support installations, upgrades, and augmentation activities across operational zones, including work within classified environments when required. Qualifications (Must Haves): โ€ข Experience: 5+ years' experience with Crestron, Cisco, Biamp/AMX, Extron, Dual classification Video conferencing solutions. โ€ข Certifications (Preferred): โ—ฆ AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification โ—ฆ Completed Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification โ—ฆ AVIXA CTS Certification Technical Expertise: โ€ข Know and understand all wire and connector types on all AV related cable. โ€ข Have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems, networks, and hardware, and software. Clearance: โ€ข Active Secret clearance (Top Secret eligibility is a plus).
