Job description

We are partnering with a publicly traded, global organization to identify a Vice President to join its growing tax team. This role offers broad exposure across tax accounting, compliance, and international tax matters within a complex, evolving environment.
This is a rare opportunity for a tax professional with strong provision experience to deepen technical expertise across sophisticated areas including Up-C structures, international tax, transfer pricing, and Pillar Two compliance, while working closely with senior leadership and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Provision & Financial Reporting
  • Lead quarterly and annual tax provision processes, including coordination with external service providers
  • Review and support tax disclosures for SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K)
  • Assist with tax provisions for foreign jurisdictions
  • Prepare SOX-compliant workpapers and support internal controls
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests

Tax Compliance
  • Manage federal and state income tax compliance processes with external providers
  • Review income tax returns, estimates, and informational filings
  • Assist with tax apportionment calculations
  • Respond to inquiries from taxing authorities
  • Support the formation and dissolution of legal entities as needed

International Tax & Transfer Pricing
  • Review international income tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support transfer pricing, Country-by-Country reporting, Pillar Two, and OECD-related initiatives
  • Monitor and assess the impact of evolving global tax legislation

Tax Receivable Agreement & Transactions
  • Assist with Tax Receivable Agreement processes related to equity exchanges
  • Support withholding calculations, tax statements, payments, and investor communications

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and Treasury on tax-related matters
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency
  • Support senior tax leadership on ad hoc initiatives

Desired Background
  • 8+ years of progressive tax accounting experience with significant provision exposure
  • Big 4 experience strongly preferred
  • CPA preferred
