Vice President Applications & Transformation
Quorum Health Corporate Office - Brentwood, Tennessee

General Summary:

The Vice President, Applications & Transformation is a senior technology leader responsible for defining, implementing, and operating Quorum Health’s applications strategy across the enterprise. Reporting directly to the EVP & CIO, this role is accountable for the leadership, performance, optimization, and modernization of the clinical application portfolio, with a major near-term focus on leading the full migration from existing EMR platforms to a new strategic EMR partner.

This executive will oversee the application stack across hospitals and related care settings, ensuring systems are aligned to clinical, operational, financial, regulatory, and transformation priorities. The role is responsible for application strategy, EMR transformation, interoperability, application lifecycle management, application rationalization, governance, and ongoing support and optimization of clinical systems.

The Vice President, Applications & Transformation will also serve as a strategic partner to business, clinical, and service line leadership across the enterprise. This role will establish direct relationships across all service lines to define long-term application strategy and roadmaps, identify short-term continuous improvement opportunities, and ensure technology capabilities are aligned to business priorities, operational needs, clinician workflows, and growth objectives. The role is expected to ensure that clinical applications not only operate effectively, but also enable workflow transformation, standardization, scalability, and improved patient care.

  • Act as a trusted partner to hospital and market leadership during application transitions, workflow redesign, and major transformation initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of service, accountability, standardization, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and leadership presence as working directly with corporate and hospital executives will be required.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare IT, with significant responsibility for clinical applications and EMR platforms.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale EMR implementation, migration, or transformation programs in a multi-site healthcare environment.
  • Deep understanding of hospital and clinical workflows, clinical systems, integration needs, and application governance.
  • Demonstrated experience in application portfolio management, lifecycle management, and rationalization.
  • Strong understanding of interoperability, data exchange, interface strategy, and connected healthcare ecosystems.
  • Experience working with executive, operational, and clinical stakeholders in complex, fast-paced healthcare settings.
  • Strong vendor management, program leadership, and organizational change management capabilities.
