Job Summary:
The Vice President Operations is responsible for the oversight and success of stations in their region. They must have a passion for ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation with strong financial performance and a positive employee relations culture. The Vice President must ensure the positive promotion of the Unifi brand and identify opportunities and services that will provide growth in the overall footprint of Unifi.

Job Duties:
โ€ข Oversight of Operational leadership and drives safety, operational performance, customer experience, and financial results.
โ€ข Evaluate daily staffing and ensures resources are aligned for optimum performance.
โ€ข Anticipate future staffing needs and ensure proactive recruitment measures are implemented.
โ€ข Full P&L responsibility.
โ€ข Daily labor management.
โ€ข Execute daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans consistent with customer expectations.
โ€ข Identify and drive continuous improvements in the operation process and communicate them to the executive team and customer.
โ€ข Build effective partnerships with internal departments, outside vendors, contractors, business partners, communities, and other business entities.
โ€ข Interacts regularly with the executive team to ensure operational priorities are aligned with total company direction.
โ€ข Promotes team-building initiatives and performs coaching/mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members.
โ€ข Ensures information is communicated in a clear, accurate, and comprehensive manner.
โ€ข Participates in employee relations investigations when complaints are brought forth and resolves issues in a professional and timely manner.
โ€ข Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
โ€ข Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.

Qualifications:
โ€ข Must have experience in airline ground handling services.
โ€ข Must have the ability to identify, evaluate and refine operational and financial results and manage to meet target performance.
โ€ข Must be able to lead team members effectively, as well as coach and develop individuals toward meeting corporate and individual goals.
โ€ข Lead innovation by teaching, consensus-building, and project execution.
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple priorities and be self-starting on tasks within area of expertise.
โ€ข Ability to lead and demonstrate initiative and work well in a team environment
โ€ข Excellent oral and written communication skills and a solid decision-maker with exceptional analytical skills.
โ€ข Possesses a valid Driver's License.
โ€ข Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
โ€ข Supervisory experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
โ€ข Minimum of eight years in an aviation ground operations station or regional leadership position.
Physical requirements:
โ€ข Must be able to frequently push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, lift up to 70lbs and move up to 70lbs; and constantly walk, stand, handle, grasp and reach out. May have to reach above shoulder occasionally.
Working conditions:
โ€ข You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. We operate in a shift bid environment.
โ€ข Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.
โ€ข Must be willing and able to travel.
