Vice President of Sales

Location: Raleigh, NC
Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

The Opportunity

MyComputerCareer is looking for an accomplished Vice President of Sales to lead our student acquisition organization and help drive our next stage of growth.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this leader will oversee the Contact Center, Admissions, Financial Planning, and Alumni teams, with responsibility for sales execution, leader development, conversion performance, operational excellence, and revenue growth.

We're looking for more than a strategist. We need a hands-on, execution-focused sales leader who knows how to build high-performing teams, develop strong sales leaders, use data to improve results, and turn strategy into action.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and develop leaders across Contact Center, Admissions, Financial Planning, and Alumni.
  • Own execution against student acquisition, enrollment, and revenue goals.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture grounded in coaching, accountability, and measurable results.
  • Strengthen frontline sales execution through call coaching, performance management, consultative selling, and consistent sales disciplines.
  • Analyze funnel performance, conversion rates, pipeline velocity, productivity, and forecasting to identify opportunities and drive action.
  • Partner with the CRO to evolve MyComputerCareer's sales strategy and operating model.
  • Improve processes, organizational structure, technology, and automation to increase sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Partner across Marketing, Education, Career Services, TechSkills, Finance, and Compliance to create a seamless student experience.
  • Help build MyComputerCareer's emerging Lifetime Value (LTV) strategy, including alumni engagement, referrals, re-enrollment, continuing education, and advanced certifications.
  • Ensure sales and enrollment practices meet applicable regulatory, accreditation, and institutional requirements.
What We’re Looking For
  • 7–10+ years of progressive sales and revenue leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading leaders and high-performing, metrics-driven sales teams.
  • Experience in high-volume B2C sales, inside sales, contact center, EdTech, education, or similarly complex sales environments.
  • Demonstrated success improving conversion, sales productivity, pipeline performance, and revenue results.
  • Strong expertise in sales coaching, enablement, forecasting, and performance management.
  • A track record of using data, technology, and process improvement to drive results.
  • Ability to operate at both the strategic and tactical level—you can set the direction and roll up your sleeves to make it happen.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills.
  • Experience with customer lifecycle, retention, re‑engagement, referral, or LTV strategies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • Higher education, EdTech, admissions, or regulated‑industry experience is a plus.
The Leader We’re Looking For

You're a builder, coach, and operator. You set high expectations, develop strong leaders, and know how to create accountability without losing engagement. You challenge the status quo, look for better and more efficient ways to operate, and aren't afraid to get close to the work when results need to improve.

Most importantly, you know that great sales leadership isn't just about hitting a number—it's about building the people, processes, and discipline that make strong performance repeatable.

Why MyComputerCareer?

MyComputerCareer helps people transform their lives by developing the skills needed to build careers in technology.

As Vice President of Sales, you'll have the opportunity to shape how we reach and serve more students, strengthen our sales organization, and help build a growth strategy that extends from initial enrollment through lifelong learning and career advancement.
