What are VP of Data?

A VP of Data, or Vice President of Data, is a senior executive responsible for overseeing an organization's data strategy, governance, and analytics initiatives. They lead teams that manage data collection, storage, analysis, and security, ensuring data is used effectively to support business goals. The VP of Data collaborates with other executives to drive data-driven decision-making and often plays a key role in digital transformation efforts. Their responsibilities may include developing data policies, implementing new technologies, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
